Attached is an invitation to St. John Neumann’s Encuentro (Encounter) on August 26th. All Spanish-speaking individuals, whether Hispanic or Latino are invited. This Encuentro is your opportunity to champion the ongoing formation and leadership development of all Hispanics and Latinos. The Encuentro is an opportunity to prepare the St. John Neumann Hispanic and Latino community as missionary disciples ready to serve St. John Neumann, the entire Church, and to understand and allow the Church to better recognize and receive the gifts that Hispanics and Latinos bring to the Church and society in the United States. Additionally, I have attached the overview of V Encuentro which provides additional information. This invitation is directed to all Latina women as well. But in this context, Latino refers to gender neutral, identifying both men and women.
